Filling the Gaps in the
Québec Healthcare System
With the help of our over 200 volunteers and our team of medical professionals, we’re here to make sure you get the healthcare you deserve
Bridging the Gap
Your medical emergencies cannot wait. Unfortunately there can be long wait times, and confusion as to where to receive the best care right away. Refuah V’Chesed has made it their mission to help people see the right specialists, and receive the proper treatment on time. Because of our amazing team and volunteers, we’ve helped countless families navigate the healthcare system, and receive life saving treatment at no extra cost.
The Extra Mile
We’re deepening the definition of the word “care.” In addition to our main referral department, we offer an array of case management, transportation and hospitality activities. Such activities include: transportation to and from appointments, providing Kosher food, entertainment for children and seniors and so much more. We know how difficult it is for families to deal with a sick loved one, which is why we’re with you every step of the way.
We Make It Easy
We replace confusing medical terms with simple, honest explanations. You'll understand your diagnosis in everyday language because clear information is the foundation of good care. Our team will:
• Explain your health condition thoroughly
• Walk you through all treatment options
• Help you understand any needed lifestyle changes
• Keep you updated at every step
Human,
Meet Humans
We are a compassionate group of professionals who are dedicated to providing you with guidance and support during the most difficult times of serious illness. We understand the emotional toll that illness can take on individuals and their loved ones, and we are here to offer comfort and care every step of the way.
Clear, Efficient, and
Backed by
Heart
.
We prioritize emergency cases, giving immediate attention to life-threatening situations. For all others seeking care, we promise to see you as soon as possible while asking for your patience during busy times. This system helps us give every person the right level of care when they need it most.

Our care-centric,
human method attracts
The number of people who are reaching out to benefit from our life saving referral and guidance activities has increased from 0 in 2015 to almost 19,000 in 2018. It’s contributions from people just like you that allow us to maintain our level of care as our clinic rapidly expands.
All of our life saving activities have been sponsored by donors. And same goes for our other activities, we are able to keep our ambulette gas tank full and hospital fridges stocked all thanks to your support.
